It’s confirmed. I will carry the Olympic Flame in Redhill on 20th July at 2.15pm. Should be a big crowd but probably not many that I know. Really looking forward to it.
What an amazing experience and enjoyable tour of Rajastan afterwards.
In a couple of hours Sue and I, with friend Mary and other Rotarians will be off to India. We are taking part in National Immunisation Day when we will administer drops to hundreds of children to try and finally eradicate Polio from that country. We will go to Delhi and then on to Karnal for […]
Well Xmas is over and a New Year has commenced. In December I was informed that I have been provisionally nominated to carry the Olympic Flame on July 19th. Remembering with great fondness our dear friend Roger who died this day 5 years ago.

Having completed a sprint distance earlier this year which was shorter, I was really looking forward to this test of endurance. The South […]
Last year I tried this ride and failed through heat exhaustion and lack of salt. No way would I fail again this year. A great ride with friend Trevor, we started at 2.00am and finished 8.00 pm. 18 hours but enjoyable. At 190 miles it was my longest single ride ever. Three day s later I did […]
