Due to last minute postponement of Norman and my Shelter Box presentation at St Paul’s School Swanley, we decided to get in another training ride. Our confidence grows as we tackle main roads and country lanes, heavy and light traffic and plenty of hills. Route via Kenward where we stopped for coffee and cake. Interest in our event and they are willing to display a poster when we have them. Only mishap, chain off at Loose viaduct trying to change to high chain wheel in effort to get a fast approach to the hill. Not a good idea getting a jammed chain at speed! lesson learned.

Norman is getting fitter and stronger with each ride and we both felt the strong headwinds today. However, not bad stats:

18.41 miles 1:38:58 11.2 mph 843ft

I found the hills challenging

Norman found it all too easy!
