Foul weather and hills today. We started with traffic training by riding right through the town centre and up on to the Tonbridge Road route that we will take on the day. All OK and we wore our new kit that Norman and I bought last week at Decathlon. By coincidence, as we finished our walk up Bow Hill, Nettlestead a great black cloud was looming so as we were passing Kenward we popped in for a coffee and cake. The rain came down in torrents and moved away just as we left. The cafe are happy to display one of our leaflets which should be available soon.
A lot of work going on to promote interest in our project, slow off the mark with donations, just over £300 so far, all from personal donations. However, District D1110 are coming up trumps and the S Box Co-ordinator is drumming up support from Winchester down to Yeovil. We hope other Districts including our own, will do the same.
