There was a very cold wind today so a bit uncomfortable on day 4 of vaccines. Saturday was not so bad so in the afternoon I went on my “over the hill” run. This takes me to Coxheath down to Redwall Lane then back up Vanity Hill. This time I detoured along the Greensand Way back to Coxheath and home. 8.5 miles today but a good run. It puts me second on the elevation leader board for second week running. Legs have ached somewhat today but no problems. Since the beginning of January I have climbed a total of 12,788 feet so I am thinking that for my GreatHomeRun event I will aim to do Everest from sea level to summit. This will count in from January and through April. I need 16,244ft more to climb the 29.032 ft to achieve that, which is a tall order.

Vaccines have gone well, steady flows of patients. We think we might have some to do over Easter weekend but i am awaiting the go ahead before I do the rota. Strange weather we are having, tomorrow it seems we are having a 3 day blast of hot air from the South. Temps up to 17 tomorrow, then a couple of days at 21 ! This coincides with the first relaxation of rules. As from tomorrow we can meet up to six people outside or two households. We have arranged to go to see Mike’s family on Easter Day. We have arranged to go for a walk. James was very tired on FaceTime, he had spent all night alone in a tent in the garden and it was somewhat chilly. Don’t think he got much sleep. Alex stayed with him for a couple of hours and then went indoors.

Off to see Mum tomorrow and Viv and Malc are on standby for FaceTime chats whilst I am there. Mum seems to have had a good day today, ate and drank well, had lunch in the dining room and activities in the afternoon.

Getting nervous over the pending social services investigations pending Mum’s money drying up.
