One in 10 people in UK now have had both vaccines and new cases are low but levelling out. Deaths and hospital cases are also staying low which is good news. Sue and I did a 3 hr shift last night but the numbers vaccinated were low. It was very quiet and we let Nick our new Rotarian off early as we could easily cope. There is talk that as the big centres are closed at the moment, when they open they will deal with all the under 40 yrs. This is sensible and will relieve the small GP practices so the medics can spend more time doing normal clinics. It might mean we can either ease down or stop altogether. However, next weekend we have another two full days so we will wait to hear after that. I have done the rota and we are ready to go on Friday and Saturday.

This morning I sorted out some old videos from the loft and threw most away. Some time ago I had some VHS converted to DVDs but checking them none now work. However, I still have the VHS so I will see if I can get them converted to digital. One that is Ok is my Presidents Night video that Stuart filmed. I watched it through. It was 22 years ago and we all look a bit older now!

GreatFunRun is well underway, some donations trickling in. I decided to do my 1,000ft elevation attempt and just managed it at 1,096ft. This was in 10.39 miles.A Strava record for me. No problems so I was very pleased. Mind you I have been somewhat tired this afternoon.

Tomorrow it is off to Beckenham to see Mike and family. Looks like being a chilly but sunny day, so a nice walk will be great. Sue has made a nice Easter nest cake. Can’t wait to see the boys again, first time since before Xmas.
