Thursday was local election day and most results are now in. Looks like Scotland have a majority SNP but not quite an overall majority. The experts tell us that the country is now divided 50/50 over independence. They calculate this with some juggling of other smaller parties. Throughout England there has been a massive increase in in Conservative vote including winning Hartlepool for the first time ever. I refrain from giving my personal opinion on this blog but it was minimally re-assuring that the Greens have gained some minor popularity in various towns and cities. Nice to know for the future of the planet that some of the population do care about the effect of climate change and what will happen to our planet. Enough of politics, more important apparently than the world ending is that Man City look like winning the Premier League…Hmmm.

Vaccines again today with our session in torrential rain. A lot of patients this morning longest queue yet I think. I spent my time trying to keep people dressed for the summer dry under my umbrella! A bit of shopping then some gardening after the rain this afternoon. Tomorrow’s weather looking a bit warmer. Just two vaccine sessions in the morning.

Not heard anything yet about Mums Care Assessment so it’s clearly not Monday as was indicated to me. Yesterday I bought some new running shoes and I tried them out in the afternoon. It was meant to be a short run but I finished up doing 8 miles thanks to my new shoes. I love the run up to Coxheath and down into the Weald and back up Vanity Hill. 745 ft of climbing so a few achy legs this morning.
