The annual gala at Crawley beckoned once again. This is my 5th year. Just 3 of us from Maidstone. Disappointing that we couldn’t get a relay team out this time. However, we managed a sprinkling of decent results. Mine were a bit mixed. Some better than last year, others not. 2 silvers, 3 bronze and a fourth for me. Some strong competition this year but also a few drop outs- probably colds or flu which meant I finished up in the top three in most events.
2010 kept me in the top ten National rankings so let’s hope this start to the year keeps me there. Can now concentrate on my triathlon attempt this year so on with the running shoes. Fingers crossed for no injuries.
